Trying to get hold of the Black Spade agent

Good day,

Does anybody know who the Black Spade agent/wholesaler is or was? Got a customer with a TT Black spade that overtightened the seatpost clamp and it snapped.  Bike is pretty much un-rideable at this stage. Have taken it to an engineer to see if they could repair but its taking so long.

Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if a Giant or Ritchey seat mast topper would fit.

The Ritchey ones were used on Willier and Focus, so I imagine its reasonably 'standard'

black spade left the country some years ago i think

Collin or @Pornstar was the guy there. I don't know if he's still active on bikehub.

As splat mentioned it looks quite similar to the Giant mast topper. So maybe just keep asking around

Well worth reaching out to GERT -

He will quickly confirm if Giant has something for you, or even if they have something else in their lineup that can work.

Black Spade was a local brand. I think they were generic Chinese frames branded as Black Spade by a hubber with the name of Pornstar (I think his name was Colin Allin or something like that).

Black Spade is long gone.

Thanks gents, Gert did get back to me and the measurements are different to the above photo. Ritchey dont have anything similar in SA. Will check with Scott Sports and see if anything come close to that.

Collin now works for Oakley in Dubai. maybe reach out to him on Instagram and ask where they sourced the frames from? then try and get a clamp from that supplier?

Morning Rockstars.... yes i am here as well from time to time...That bike was discontinued around 15 years ago, so not sure how to find a clamp for it. Graeme from Carbon Ninja has also moved to Canada who usually helped us out... Have you reached out to Jared at BMC ? 076 273 6918

Hey Guys. Thanks for the input. Engineer around the corner from our shop, made a shim of the current sized seatpost. Welded the bracket and fits snug. Needs a dash of black spray paint. Hoping it holds until we can find a suitable replacement.
