After registering as a user some days ago, I received the following dodgy email.

Anyone else having received the same?

Do NOT reply. In your mail client, select the mail by clicking it ONCE only, and then hold down SHIFT and press the DELETE button on your keyboard.

If you succumbed the temptation already, then you have acknowledged that there is a person on the receiving end of your mail addy and you are about to be spammed by the devil himself. In which case, good luck.

No, I haven't. As @Robbie Stewart suggested, it might be best to delete it. Additionally, it could be worthwhile to notify Winelands about the issue. Perhaps they could implement measures to guard against or block such emails/users.

Eish these dodgy people get in everywhere. I'm on the Wine Lands Club committee (although completely unrelated portfolio so please don't throw website stuff at me 🫣) I have alerted the committee to raise with the correct person.
