At least he could get it back on without needing to whip out a multi tool to adjust the chain guide first. I think the new DT Swiss DEG DF anti kick back freehub will Solve the problem for quick engagement hubs. In the past we just used a std 18T ratchet and never have too much issues with kick back derailment. Now we want fast engaging hubs but then want to owmot down with a kick back device ……

Precisely. I wonder if that new so called clutch on the di2 was the problem. The older Shimano clutches have worked very well for me...

They worked well but one ended up as a wEll trained clutch mechanic keeping them working well

Maybe I was just lucky - didn't have any issues after I got rid of the old 10sp SLX and went to XT.

White for one ride. After that its cream.

I rode a very hot event in some poorly ventilated black shoes once. It was also a hot day and the foot that was more in the sun on the return leg literally got cooked. White shoes do have their practical advantages...

might have missed this, but looks like Candice moved from Cannondale to Thomus for the WC season now too, so remains a privateer but with a bit of handy backup?Β @Action_ManΒ can maybe even drop one of his seven jobs.

The collaboration between the two riders is also due in no small part to their shared equipment: from the 2026 season onwards, Candice Lill will also be riding ThΓΆmus bikes in her own team structure. The combination of Keller’s international class in the World Cup disciplines and Lill’s extensive Cape Epic experience promises a duo that combines sporting ambition with tactical maturity.
