Oudtshoorn -> Wilderness

Hi all

I'm looking to ride Oudtshoorn to Wilderness on my gravel bike.

 

I've put together the following route options. Note that the first is based on the cross cape route. 

 

Does anyone have any information on the road conditions and which of the two are best? Also any other recommendations?

That pass might be passable on an enduro bike. It will not be passable on a gravel bike.

I also read that the Montague Pass has been closed to ALL traffic, including bicycles.
