Prince George is the most diverse one-day race you’ll ever experience. It is a monumental race from the dark side of the Swartberg Mountain Range at the Northern slopes in the Great Karoo through the Klein Karoo region towards the northern foothills of the Outeniqua mountains and a finish in the Langkloof at Louvain Guest Farm.

The vast landscapes and diverse overload of this non-technical routes are the perfect race for all mountain and gravel bike enthusiasts, with ample

opportunity to appreciate the unique surroundings you’ll be exposed to.

Meiringspoort will be closed on Saturday due to the Meiringspoort half marathon  .

so take that into account for your planning

Been looking at the map for alternate routes back on Saturday... so how are the coffee shops in Prince Albert? 😂

Wifey is going to have to wait around a long time before she can leave for Louvain. Spend about 4 hours, drive to Klaarstroom and hopefully not have to wait too long before the pass is open? 

(her stress levels will not allow her to drive over Swartbergpas, nor woman alone the gravel road from Klaarstroom to Willowmore - plus, even if she avoids an anxiety attack, it would take forever, it would be faster to wait)

Have a kip after hubby has left , get up walk to the Saturday Market in the main road have a coffee or breakfast walk over the road to visit the Art Gallery then our her way out stop at Gays Dairy to get cheese and she may even be late for the 11 am opening of Meiringspoort 😇
