Don't deflate them enough that they will become unseated. Just softish to push in with your fingers.

Unless you pump the tires to their max psi, no need. You can let a bit out if you are worried about it but deflating entirely is unnecessary.

would be interesting to hear from the frequent flyers ....

If you are worried, maybe reduce to 0,5bar below the rated maximum for the tyre.  Not as if we typically use such high pressures in any case.

You guys seem to have all sort of experiences with sealants, the only times I've had problems with tubeless is either due to a cut, a hole too big (then plug) or the lack of sealant (dried).

for me there's two kinds of bad sealants, the ones that dries/separate too quickly, the ones that don't seal ****. I've only experienced one of the latter, too bad I was sponsored and still have about 5 L of this one.

I use this one in my training gravel tyres or on the MTB, and for the gravel racing or road I use goats milk for now and haven't had bad experiences with that one.

I used the stan's race sealant before but it's *** expensive and impossible to clean off a tyre when you change tyres regularly .

Hot soapy water, a stiff brush from pnp and elbow grease bru.
