Hi Everyone

Hope everyone's well.

I see they say the JD 65km is technical.

In your opinion, is it very technical that one would not manage or is it fine for someone that is an occasional weekend rider.

Regards

D

A decent litmus test would be to go try the longer routes at northern farms. If there is a lot of stuff you can't ride there, it's going to be the same stuff in the race, and you have your answer.

I doubt they'll put all of their hardest stuff in; previous years skipped the hectic bits, so the 50km loop would be your best bet to try. As far as I remember, all the proper 'technical' stuff is on the 65km loop.

Hi Guys,

I received my SMS confirming my entry and batch allocation on Wednesday night, when I checked it on Thursday morning I noticed I was seeded incorrectly.

I have tried to contact someone to have a change made via the website, social platforms and email, but I cannot seem to get any reply. Who would I need to contact to have my seeding corrected?

Does anyone else still have issues accessing the JD results from Protime... couldn't yesterday and still can't today. Message on Protime site when trying to access 2026 results: Blocked for abusive or suspicious behaviour... Not a good look or message from Protime! :D

It was my first year and I also thought it was meh. When I got to the 2nd water point they ran out of cramp ease and we only had water.

Yes please.

Batch A and B of the 65 had a false start as well.

Seemed like the post race party unraveled very quickly. Nobody stuck around.

So...

In absolutely no derogatory way... did some E-bikes catch up to the slower rear of the 65 pack.

Just gonna say, the way they pushed some of the poor people out of the way, flying past on some sections, it did not look emotionally healthy... for them.

One guy pulled past some poor girl in front of us, struggling up this hilly section, muttering abuse like Harvey Epstein on roids, all the way to the top. You could really hear him going at her.... and the image... reminded me of my baby girl throwing down her toys and storming off when she doesn't get her way.

I'm not judging E-bikes, well, I do all the time, but more about people flipping out and passing others, that it looks like they are looking for third base, don't get their way, and bursting off in typical "ag siestog fashion".

See, looks like Rage Quit.. Maybe there is a better term?

Right? I think the venue for the number of people was good, a lot of potential.  But rather than it growing organically, it felt a bit forced?
