Peugeot Lion - Restoration Complete

I have finally completed the restoration of my Peugeot Lion. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm happy with the result. 

Thanks to Peter at Road Cycles in Silverton for all his advice and for sourcing a lot of the parts.

Such a good job.... Did you replace the bars or have them rechromed (if that is even possible)?

All the chrome parts were re-chromed, but the rims were badly pitted from the rust and the chrome plating couldn't mask this. So I painted the inside of the rims to compensate.

You did a fantastic job. Not many of these old commuter / work type bikes are ever restored, which is sad because they are as much part of the cycling heritage as the flashy sought after racing bikes.

That is very nicely done, we live in a disposable world, always nice to see things being restored and reused.
