Hi All

A mate and I are keen to do a touring style, multiple day ride from Cape Town to Plett.
Starting point would be the winelands (Stellies/Franschoek/Paarl), keeping daily distances below 100km, prefer to stay off National roads as much as possible form a security/safety perspective.
If anyone has done something similar please share your experiences (good & bad), recommendations for routes/food/accommodation etc will be greatly appreciated.

When @Stephan finishes the epic, give him a week or so and get hold of him on the forum. He's done many of those multiday routes CT to Mosselbay area

One could do Stellies, Greyton, Montagu, then up through the Anysberg Nature Reserve area and across to Prince Albert (staying north of the mountains, but south of the N1).

Then across to Klaarstroom, De Rust, Uniondale and down to Plett.

Lekkerslaap has tons of inexpensive farm stays on the way.

Frogman,

This is kind of a boring route....

Why? because SOOOOOOOO many people have done it already.

do some internet research, plenty of answers will be there

This works well.
