Unfortunately yes, seems the staff got back from Epic and shortly after goto the shop to find the doors chained. Yet the team is still going afaik, since thats linked to Fly as a fibre provider.

Sad to see and somewhat disappointing, there were quite a few staff between the shop and kitchen. Hoping they got sorted somewhere along the way.

I see the Fly website is still up and running...contact details and all.

Lots of new entrants into this segment , I see East City Cycles are launching a brand named Derive, looks like nice kit as well.

It is much needed. Ciovita is dropping the ball lately. Sizing all over the place. garments chafing through in a couple of rides and their pricing is climbing continuously.

Call that “going global tax”

Used to buy Corsa Bibs for R1200 on normal price and now it’s double

Could just be hosting. The shop is definitely closed and was half empty last I went past last week.
Often used to pop in for a coffee and chat.

Still plenty local options too, Enjoy etc … something I never thought I’d say, but Velotex is looking much better. Saw some of their winter stuff recently.

Starting to ride a bit after a 6 year break for the kids and needed some gear. In the time I skipped someone decided you need to be glad wrapped to pedal a bicycle so easier said than done.

Really happy with the range, quality and price from Leatt in the end.
