Hi People

 

Looking at getting a new bike after being in the sport for 3 years I do have an  2004 RC 3000 with Tiagra groupset. But it is time for a change.

 

I have already decided on Ultegra groupset. Maybe Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels if my budget allows it. The budget is +- 20

 

I weight in between 85 kg and 95 kg.

 

If i missed something, please let me know And if you think I should ride something else, do not hold back with the comments

The Exogrid and Isogrid frames are expense. I believe for Exogrid you are looking at mid-thirties for frame and fork only!!!

 

For your price range, you'd probably be looking at their entry-level frame which is the Modena. Please note however that for Titus, entry-level is like close to other manufacturer's top-end bikes.

 

They are second to none!!!

That's a good deal. I'd take it. Maybe I'd try get the shop to swop the Ultegra for centaur or chorus if they can. But even with Ultegra, that's a good deal. Great value.

How can you put Campag on a no name brand frame? It's pedigree parts, so it must go on a pedigree bike. Not on a "half naaikie".

ugggh terrible value, paying an extra 3 or 5 grand for the team issue is a good deal - which doesn't even cover the upgrade from ultegra to dura ace, never mind the zipp wheels.

 

In essence you are buying last years alu/carbon frame raleigh 7000 (available at 10-11k) and then paying an extra 10 grand to swop out the frame for carbon- insane,
