Why would it be illegal to ride in neutral kit ? I though you either had to ride in team/club kit or neutral kit as opposeed to pitching up with a Quickstep or Astana kit when you don't belong to them (I'd love to pitch up in last years Astana kit).

not really - dinoaur thinking. whn soccer players started wearing "cycling shorts" under their shorts Fifa said ok as long as its the same colour as the shorts you are wearing. and this goes for u7's to internationals. now look at rugby, i think Luke Watson wears black undershorts, Habana white, with white armwarmers, it just looks *** and unprofessional. there is nothing worse than seeing some prop that has taken the physio's scissors and cut off the arms of his rugby jersey.

so cycling have rules that say you must wear a cycling jersey that has arms. nuthing new, its just a rule.

its a sport when YOU pay to play but when you get paid to play/ride/hit then its your job. even the wannabe pro's down here in CT get fined by their sponsors if they don't train in their correct kit and the bike hasn't been cleaned. so when u race over the line first zip up and at least have pride in your appearance.

Sammajoor, she is a licenced rider, but she is not a elite rider.  You know her very well.  I don't think she was aware of the fact that she's not allowed to race with a sleeveless shirt

Guys as in any sport there are rules, if you don't linke the rules then don't play the sport. You cannot expect the rules to be changed for you only, Imagine a beer poop bare chested on his bicycle riding in a race because there are not rules in place.

It is true that each sport got a regulating body trying to control the sport . In cycling we got a circus trying to do the same job . Just following the example being set .

i was fined for wearing one number at back of shirt instead of 2 at the midlands vets tour 2 years ago,paid and that was that,many others were fined for varios things
