What I would like to see from a cycle show:

race updates, all disciplines

Rider interviews

a "what I'm on" session where each week a local pro tells us about his/her bike

equipment review. I doubt there will be much negativity..

Bike shoot out

International highlights and review

Cycling related media review; books, dvds, websites etc

Presenters other the guys currently used. PLEASE!!!!

I look forward to watching the show but its needs to be jacked up. the follwing might work Wink

arnie needs to go and let owen and AM do the show on their own. Both are eloquent and know their way around a bike. Love to see some bike reviews and honest opinions thrown about. The show is just so sterile. Bike riders want to see bikes, clothes, action not just blah blah blah blah

They need to do a total revamp of the show - last weeks one of the repeat interview of Armstrong really stunk!

I now PVR it and ffwd to the interesting bits - Supercycling is now only about 15mins long.......

I cannot believe that manufacturer's are unwilling to allow bikes for testing.

On the whole I think that Supercycling is a very poor relative to Supergolf (which I used to watch in my pre-cycling days!).

Supercycling really is a very sad little show. I used to enjoy it for a little bit of amusement value, but I haven't actually watched it in around 6 months now...

The last entertaining thing I remember seeing on the show was actually when JB said "you can't stretch a chain"... Think that was also the last full episode I watched...

I stopped riding a bike competitively or even at all for about a decade and when I got back on again, discovered that there was a WHOLE HOUR A WEEK!! on cycling, on TV. I was blown away. As a kid in the 1990s, it was awesome awesome awesome to see any cycling on TV, ever.

(stay with me I take a long time to make my pointless).

Now I do cringe every time Owen is quizzed about his views on doping, and I do think he is a bit wooden. I don't know him personally, he's probably a great guy, but he doesn't come over that great on TV.

Poor old Arnie has, I think, done a great job on getting to know a lot about a f*cking complicated sport and comments sometimes surprisingly accurately on what it going on (compare him to that hot chick who is completely airheaded when it comes to cycling).

And ole AM, love him or hate him, he shows quite a dry sense of humour every now and then. And he doesn't rave about himselfwinning the race, which he all too often does.

It's definitely not the best programme out there, but where else do you get to see some reportage on local races and goings on? Would be great if they could improve it, but for my 10c worth (actually I get paid by the word, so it's more than that..) I'll watch it if its on....

Astana' date=' I agree with you and Porky. Just because it's the only show, doesn't mean we have to accept it. On the other hand, we do have a small say in what we want as the producer would like to improve the show.

Pickled, yes, we all do have our own opinion. On the other side of the coin, I believe content is more important than presenters. The majority of the show is about content. People will always have opinions about people and I think these presenters are here to stay for a while. What the producer would like to change is program format and content, so that you don't have to flip to another channel.

I am being serious about this, the producer does want info and feedback from you cyclists.

They need to pick a target market.................as I mentioned before, in my opinion I dont relate to the show at all, I think its childish and flirtatious, but I am an old codger, if their market is the 16-25 age group I think they are probably doing fine, if they are trying to appeal to the older market, .............well, they are so far off track its frightening.!

I love cycling, a lot.

But to watch Supercycling is like weak coffee, smells nice, but no taste! When you saw the trailer at the beginning of the show, you've seen it all. This week the Jock was on, which is a nice and tough race, but they only showed the 6 ladies starting and about 5 leading men. None of the scenery and rest of the people. Most of the race and camaraderie doesn't happen in the front few, what really makes a race is the rest of the people. I'd rather spent a hour on the Hub, than watching Supercycling. A lot more info and people who have an opinion.

I think is a good idea to continue with the "PRO-file" which they occasionally have on the show..I think they should do more extensive interviews with the girls and the men, and with the rising star or retiring pro. Also really the need more extensive race reports...You never know whats going on in those races And your confusion about who is accautly in the lead is always followed by andrew saying "in the end it was Malcolm Lange"..Wow! it sounds like the sound race over and over each week. It would also help if there races are more up to date! The jock was over 2months ago! I remember a couple years ago the tuesday 2 days later they would have the race on already! Thats what I at least expect..2Days is more than enough time.

The worst part is yet to come. Now, for the next few months it's just gonna be 94.7 ride tips. After that Argus ride tips. the same is gonna happen in our magazines.

The thing is Arnie kicks off a story line (as presenter) with AM to fill the gaps with knowledgeable bits. Arnie's not bad and AM can stay. He asks questions to studio guests that I wanted answers to.  Kick Owen and make space for an exciting new studio guest each week. I liked it when John-Lee was in the studio.

Lefty,

I asked AM about a few of your of your point sometime ago. He said, that MNET Supersport were not happy showing team presentations and interviews. I think it more a money issues from SuperSport side. You buy time (adverts), we show your brand.

But i also think a complete rethink of the program is needed.
