My Picture / Action Photo

Is anyone else still getting letter and statements from My Picture / Action Photo for last years 94.7 race?

 

In my case I bought the photos and paid by electronic transfer. Mailed lawrence@mypicture.co.za the payment details and still over 6 months later I still receive statements and letters requesting payment.

 

I'm about to pick up the phone and rip someone a new one. Thought I'd do some research first.

I got a letter this week telling me that I still owe them R0.00 and must settle my account asap.

Nothing since I told them to get in  their car and come and collect the pics I never asked for and they hounding me to in my time and effort post back to them ........ tchjops!

Mine was also Sani2C. There was a small piece of paper attached to the account which said that they had changed their system (or something along those lines) and were busy collecting all outstanding amounts.

Got a nice set of pics of a person I don't know, from a race I didn't enter, wanting money from me.

A terse reply was given by me and no further correspondence has been entered into

Yep, getting hounded, have paid them for the sh!tty pics from last year's 94.7 ages ago and still getting the letters which are verging on the threatening. Go on MarkS, tear them a new one!

I ripped some poor soul, who made the mistake of answering the phone, a new one. Appologised later. It seems a good place to rip is the MD joe@mypicture.co.za .

 

Just sent him a mail telling him that I and my family won't be supporting his business as we don't have a policy of rewarding incompetence.

 

I also suggested that he might want to read this thread as my frustration does not seem to be isolated.

 

Be interesting to see if there is a result.

Report them to the Department of Trade and Industry. This is a scam. Their business model is illegal in terms of Government Gazette no. 26700

 

 

 

I once challenged them on this issue. I have yet to receive a reply.
