dirtrider Posted December 11, 2006 Share He calls himself Keith Wilson from CAVS (got business cards etc) and his current cell phone number is 073 981 1744 , drives a white BMW with CEY registration (this also changes) . You could run into him this holiday season at anyone of our big petrol stations next to the highways and he will be asking for money or petrol . Give him a b#@#slap and tell him it is from me . I could have given that R100 to needy cyclist !

scotty Posted December 11, 2006 Share Similiar thing happening at Boksburg Hyper, young lady saying she is a rep from Pietersburg, left her bank cards, cash at home and has run out of petrol and asks for money to buy some. Offers to buy or give her petrol are declined and she waltzes off to ask someone else. She tried the stunt on me two different days, and does not work alone as i noticed the same seedy looking guy hanging around on both days.

javadude Posted December 11, 2006 Share Theres also a guy with long black hair in and around Joburg. Tried his luck with me three times saying he's a musician, run out of petrol and needs to get to his gig. Will take your cell phone number so he can get the cash back to you (but obviously never does).

Thyolo Posted December 11, 2006 Share Love it, love it.... here we go again, human interest thread set to dominate the hub, can feel the pressure building. So there's this lady in a crocheted hat in a lift at OR Tambo who needs bus fare to Pretoria. She used to do the same thing at Jo'Burg International and before that Jan Smuts - she's everywhere. Called her on it in the lift once when she was accosting some other folk for the 1st time. That was fun.

MichH Posted December 11, 2006 Share Dirt-Rider, good on you for having a conscience and still being willing to give first and second guess yourself later. That's what's important. The wheels will turn as epoh said P.S. nice ride on Sunday, my thigh, wrist and shoulder only started to get stiff and sore this a.m. after that embarassing fall!
