Obvioulsy access to some bandwith is required when streaming... Apologies if you already knew this, but I gathered that from purchasing the albums you are not using apple music service... We aren't allowed to stream at work, hence I download and listen offline. I then have access to my purchases in my ipad at home as well. will that be the case with Apple Music? Teach me stuff! RocknRolla Posted November 25, 2015 Share With an Apple Music subscription, you have access to the whole Apple Music library, so you can stream albums, and songs at no extra cost.You have the option to select songs or albums to be available offline on your phone or ipad, so you can listen even if you dont have a broadband connection. So its mainly a streamming service, but with the option to have some of the stuff available on your device. The main difference is that once you stop paying the subscription, you will no longer have the rights to keep the files offline.
