Not a big Rihanna fan, but I kinda smaak this tune.

 

Rihanna is a bit of a hit and miss for me - but she does knock out some cracker ballads (being girlie here for a sec) - and I like her collab with Eminem.

Those songs are tops even though I think they've got a bit of a negative theme going on there. Reminds me a bit of what Taylor Swift sings about, not that I would know much about Miss Swift, that's just what I hear from my wife.

Negative /sad stuff make the best ballads :)

here's another 4AD pearler tumbles...this one was on the netflix show stranger things. I dont know what has happened to british music...but in the 70s, 80s and early 90s it was in a class of its own

I have to agree that it was brilliant then. Maybe because I was living in England then and music is intrinsically linked to my good memories, yet I was in Manchester in the whole Madchester time but never really enjoyed Oasis, Stone Roses etc.
