rad006 I think Admin makes very little. Hosting and bandwidth costs are a bit expensive. I'm not sure where he hosts it, but I know the person who helps me host chainwheel pays about $600 a month for a virtual server in the states.

I certainly don't think the man is loaded from TheHub

$600 a month is alot for a virtual server, are you sure its not a dedicated server? I was paying about $100 a month for a virtual server and could only go dedicated if i wanted an upgrade.

 

It looks like the Hub is hosted in the states, but problem is its ASP and Windows hosting is more expensive than Linux. I don't think there can be much profit with the limited number of ads running.

Our increasing membership and hits on the site are what drives Admins sales from advertising,links,etc.

Admin is a fat ugly guy with glasses' date=' greasy hair and pimples all over his face, living in Constantia. His parents are loaded like hell and since he's a computer nerd he designed this hub forum in one night, or in different time meassure, while eating 8 bags of Lays Sal and vinegrad, 8 Snickers and 3 litres of coke.

You don't want to see a pic of him. Just think ugly. Very ugly!

 

 

On a serious note: I also don't think he's making much money. In the beginning he actually paid all costs by himself when the hub and advertisements only went really slowly.

Thanky admin for giving so many people a interactive social life. But please don't advertise further. There enough special people here already.

yes. only recently though and on order only. there's a guy cycling around the western cape (me thinks it was there) who doesn't belong to the hub but has a kit. go and find him, beat him up and get the kit. you are more worthy than him!
