Look stunning - a real work of art!

Just not sure if i like it though - the colour ...... not sure - prefered the pink T-MOBILE giant - it at least went well with their kit.

Put some campy on that bike for pete's sake! LOL

Rider's height: 1.82m (6'0")
Rider's weight: 70kg (154lb)

His BMI is: 21

People with BMI's of 25 to 29.9 are considered overweight, while those with BMI's of 30 and above are considered obese. Those with BMI's of 18.5 or less are considered underweight.

So he can go down to 62kg and still be considered to have a Normal weight?Dead

Had a look at these bikes last night at the Tour of Qatar. Sorry, but its nice at best. The fixed seatpost is a professional indulgence halfing the resale value of the bike.

'dales aside, there are so many inspiring bikes out there at the moment. I like the Cervelos. A lot. Speaking to Psycho lately, had a good look at the Pinarello Paris and Specialised Tarmac SL. Fantastic, great looking bikes both. Saw a black Trek 6.9 ssl (?) at the E2E yesterday. Although not my cup of tea, a beautiful bike. But sorry guys, this giant is, well, nice.

Kindly explain WHY it would half the resale value of the bike..

Thanks

Ag GoLefty.  Elementary.

You saw on a Carbon frame and I am not going to buy it.  Especially if you are 2cm longer than me.....
Thus you are going to battle to get a buyer for the bike....

Not so hard to understand?

And that saddle clamp thing is just dof, dont trust it.

Nice, vanilla, beige, ordinary. I think Ally McBeal once referred to this as a wet piece of toast.

Well thats just you but you'd ride a bike joined in the middle...

strange that.

If you buy the Giant surely you are going to sell the bike to someone of a similar height?

And If it had Ridley on the down tube would it be more desirable?

Now you confuse me golefty

Firstly, isnt lefty and headshok 'dale equipment?

Secondly, my (and spideys) bike may be joined in the middle, but we're not going to saw it there?

Thirdly, most modern bikes are either full carbon or a combo of carbon rear and alu. Does you argument extend to that?

If it was a Ridley it would have been a bit more interesting, yes. However, if it had Ridley on the downtube, it would have been a bad fake lol!!

Man With No name..

man.....with.......no........name..

I am a Dale lover, I love my dales, alwayshad always will but I can be bit objective when someone else makes a great product.

I think the Giant is a great product. Yes it's interesting, the name is bit too common but it's a great bike none the less.

So now I know that if I asked the question;

"System Six or TCR Advanced" what you answer would be and I value that input.

Of course the fact that I can fit a Lefty to a System Six is a huge plus point Cool

but I just don't know.....If only someone would let have a spin on their System six, maybe then the choice would be easier..

The TCR is nice and I looked at one the past weekend.... someone here bought ons with the black and blue and white.... very nice but last night I wsa watching the Qatar, and agree with nameless that the T Mobile colours are extremely boring there is no apeal to this bike, and I think therefore to me this bike will be classed as nice....... but the Pinarello Paris  and 2007 Tarmac SL  my o my....... they are (sorry mods) but they are befoook nice and even have sex appealBig%20smile
