Cervelo - gross!!!

But to the topic...

Training around here, most of us have eaten at least one bug. I'm working in front a lot more nowadays...so guess who's first in line for a lovely "miggie" breakfast??? Mmmm...lucky me - figure somebody decided i didn't get enough protein into my system being on a veggie diet and all. Yuck!

Never had a flying snack before, but a bug flew in my ear while I was out cycling.  Now that felt weird.  Lost my balance and swerved all over the road!!!  Luckily no cars in sight.

Bee got into my helmet 40km into a 150km ride, zapped me high up on the forehead - big lump for 4 days? Looked like an alien! Still completed the ride..........

3 of his buddies hit me a week later. One inside my top (shoulder), the other two tried for my quads - I got them first!

Last week a bee tried the helmet trick again! Helmet was of in 0,00025 sec and I was brushing my head with my fingers like I was looking for fleas!

When I spot ANY bug the first thing I do is close my mouth. If a bee gets you in the windpipe you're dead!

Summer in Europe really brings out the miggies, faaaar worse than in Africa. Depending on where you ride (town or country) you can really swallow a lot of bugs especialy if you are breathing hard, never mind the ones that get into your hair (hairy legs, arms a good trap for them).

German speakers have a "interesting" name for miggies - probably get banned if I bring it up again so ... you'l have to guess...

Suspect they dont believe in God (the miggies not Germans)
