How?s that!!! <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

South Africans spend their hard earned money at Alpha Pharm outlets across the country and they go and pay us back for our support by sponsoring a foreigner.

WTF

I don?t get why they did not rather invest in a South African riders future.

Jenny who, she comes takes our prize money and buggers off back to Sweden. WHAM BAM thank you Alpha Pharm. She is taking away what could have been support for a local girl.

Come on Alpha Pharm what are you doing?

I don't see how you can say that they are giving our money away. You see, once we pay Alpha Pharm for our condoms and our ephedrine, the money is not ours  - its theirs. And they can sponsor Jack the Ripper if they want.

Your post is very emotional and not very well thought out. Anyway, good luck with whatever it is you are trying to achieve.

You are talking absolute nonsense now. Sponsors spend their money on somebody that gives them the best return. All the top ladies are sponsored already and its about time that Anriette and her fellow "last 50 meter sprint ladies" gets competition. At least she injected new enthusiasm at the  SA ladies "bunchriding" races.

If I were AP I also would have sponsored Jenny before any local rider. She gave them a great return on their investment. Unlike most SA ladies she is prepared to make any ride a race, so its more exciting to whatch her.

And she's hot.

Can any one say XENOPHOBIA?

When our sportsmen & women do well internationally, we all rejoice and sing their praises: but let one of those "uitlanders" do that to us and we get all miffed.

I think we are getting a little caught up in something that is best left alone.

Wonderfully ridiculous thread, very similar menatality to "foreigners coming over here and taking our jobs".

You think maybe, just maybe, there's a south african or two that's benefited from a non-South African company or country? Maybe? Even a cyclist?

This thread is so small-minded i've got to type in this font now to fit my reply in.
