Just had a look at my stats on GarminConnect. My top speed for the year was 238km/h . and my second highest was 72km/h at the Amarider 100 Miler.

Also 58km/h on a MTB, but that was flat as can be.

 

I remember the first time I broke the 60km/h barrier on a MTB. I was 13 years old on a Giant ATX 780.
