I have a friend who cannot afford to stay in a R900 per month room ...you can send me the money if it is depressing you...I will set up a meeting so that you can feel better when you get rid of it. We can take apic and you can keep it as a reminder.

Luxury ? I think many can afford tubbies but the move towards clinchers has been mainly because the weight has come down. Years ago the tubbies were much lighter compared to clinchers than they are now.

Don't want to start yet another tubbies vs clinchers thread but I don't think I'll move to tubbies - the price is prohibitive but mostly it's the fear of what the heck I would do if I got a puncture.

Can any tubby riders give some info on how you "change" a puncture and how long it takes and if it's more hassle than changing a clincher.

Cervelo R3 with Campy Chorus or Record. Zipp 404 clinchers due to the wheight. Now there is a super light bike with no limit on wheight with a lifetime warranty.
