Weighed the bike last night fully built and it came in at 17kg on the dot.

 

So with light weight XT brakes rather than the saints that will drop about 200g

Then the Spring - 200g

 

Then the rotors - 100g

 

And the bike is down to 16.5kg. SWEET

Jees. That's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. my Turner is 17 flat.

Yeah I know

 

and thats with ENVE bars and Carbon Seat

 

I can drop some weight on the seatpost too ... because thats still a full length Thomson

So I think I will end up at 16 I hope

Shows that the carbon frame must be DAMN strong.

bloody hell ... that is just a bit lighter than my MOTO!

I obviously misread your earlier post-I thought you meant your carbon moto is just heavier than 16... :oops:

 

No ... Hairy got it wrong - his post still says that 16kg is LIGHTER than his Moto ... hahaha :oops:
