Fair call, also hooray for the judgment against Hon Judge Motata. This person has now been sitting at home for more than 2 years pocketing R 57000 per month. If he had the decency to take it on the chin as he should have he could have held his head high, but no... he has to go and blame racism and waste millions of tax payers money.

R57K? Is that all? I though judges and wot not was highly paid

it depends from what side you look at it. But usually the more a person earns the more they plead poverty.

As the afrikaans saying goes: "Hulle kla met 'n halwe brood onder die arm".

Judge Motata in his own f***ing words

Crash-night rant played in court

The

rantings of Pretoria High Court judge Nkola Motata were finally made

public yesterday, a year after he smashed his car into the wall of a

house allegedly while driving drunk.

Motata heard swearing at crash scene

AUDIO: Judge ?could not stand upright?

DOCUMENT: Transcript of audio recordings

On recordings made at the scene Motata, 60, slurs, swears profusely and makes racist remarks.

The recordings were made by state witness Richard Baird,
owner of the Hurlingham, Johannesburg, property into which Motata
crashed in January last year.

In one recording, the judge says: ?There?s no boer who
will undermine and degrade me. He must stop pestering me with this wall
of his.?

Baird?s tenant, Lucky Melk, is heard saying : ?But you
are a man of the law,? to which Motata responds: ?I am a man of the
law. He must not look at me as a black man. He should tell me how much
I owe him for the wall.?

Motata was later heard telling Baird: ?I say I don?t talk to you. I say ****you. I say don?t talk to me?.

Baird is then heard saying to Motata: ?Don?t fall over ? you can?t even walk properly.?

Motata arrived at the Johannesburg Magistrate?s Court
yesterday backed by a powerful legal team: advocates Bantubonke Tokoto
and Danie Dorfling, and Prof Dawa van der Merwe, a computer expert.

He sat in the dock taking notes and did not flinch while
the recordings were played. People in the public gallery laughed at his
ramblings.

The court also heard the conversation between Motata and two metro police officers at the scene.

Motata refused to get out of his car, saying: ?I?m not
going to co-operate with you. Let me tell you guys, I don?t have to
cooperate with you guys ? ****you.?

The judge said to the officers: ?Fight him [baird]. Fight him. You must not even help him.?

The court heard that the police had to manhandle the
judge out of his car. He resisted them by clinging to the steering
wheel. He was taken to Hillbrow police station.

Motata has pleaded not guilty to charges of drunken
driving, attempting to defeat the ends of justice and resisting arrest.
He said he had drunk only tea before the smash.

But the state claims his blood- alcohol level was four
times the legal limit, and that the accident took place on a tarred,
straight road.

He reportedly declined more than once to have a breathalyser test, telling the police he was a judge.

Motata?s defence team is disputing the admission of the audio recordings as evidence.

What he said, according to recordings

?I don?t want to talk to them. They can do whatever ?. They think they?ve apprehended me for something they think they know.?

? This department ? it used to be a white man?s land ? now South Africa is ours. We are ruling .?

?Even if I?ve damaged the wall, I?ll
reimburse the owner ? He should not degrade me. There?s no boer who
will undermine and degrade me.?

?He must stop pestering me with this wall of his.?

?Fight him. Fight him. You must not even help him [Richard Baird],? he told two policewomen .

?What did you say when I got out of the car? I?m not a fool. You said I?m a drunken person.?

?You?re drunk, unfortunately; the guys are laughing at you,? said Baird to Motata.

?Get to hell,? Motata replied. .

?I?m not going to co-operate with you ? I
don?t have to co-operate with you. ****you. If anybody doesn?t give me
my keys ? if anybody does not want to co-operate with my keys.?

?Stop using racial statements with me,? said Baird. ?I have black tenants living with me and I?ve got a black neighbour.?

Motata to female police officer: ?Woman,
wena, don?t worry about whites. It?s the truth that must prevail. Ja, I
don?t care about her.?

"I?m not begging a person here. You all know I will not run away from the scene".

"I?ve knocked your wall. No, no, no, I
accept that. I?ve got to pay for whatever I?ve done". "If I damage your
wall, whether I?m drunk or sober, I?ve got to pay for that, honestly,
I?ve got to give you my particulars and pay for the damage I?ve caused.
It?s not a question of drunk or sober. I?ve done damage to you. Take my
particulars and tell me how much damage I?ve done, I?m prepared to
pay.?

To police officers:

"Yes you will regret it, you will regret it. I don?t care, do it, do it,"

"How am i supposed to stand up? I?m refusing, I?m refusing".
