Dirty Twin Posted September 22, 2009 Share I had a mean wipe out coming down Simola at about 73 kays on the TAR. TO THE FELLOW MTB'ER THAT STOPPED TO HELP ME AND GET ME OUT OF FURTHER DAMAGE I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU. UNFORTUNATELY ONE DOES NOT THINK CLEARLY AT THE TIME SO I NEVER MANAGED TO GET YOUR RACE NUMBER TO THANK YOU. Also a big thank you to the guys and gals from the MEDICS team for patching me up so quickly on the scene.

Bos Posted September 22, 2009 Share Were you the guy!! My Friend Jaco was riding behind you he told us the story on the way back to Capetown. He said it looked like your Tire came of the rim or something. He was saying that he got such a fright he almost forgot to stop. Those looks like nasty roasties. But Im glad nothing worse happened Dirty. Theres been some nasty accidents on that hill. My I was riding there about 6 years ago, when one of the guys somehow rode into the back of a stationary vehicle. He flew like superman and landed in the bushes. He was luckey but his bike was history. Happy healing.
