depends on how you want to look on the road bike. If you want to look like a tit then get the longest, whitest socks. If you are tit+10 the you wear lycra booties over your R3000 shoes. If you are a tit-unlimited you get a Campag tattoo.

On a MTB you only need black socks and none of the above.

Sunday I went out on my MTB but some of my kit might have been meant for the road. I never came across anyone from the hub though because all the people I came across were friendly and helpfull and no one even asked for my certificate of competancy.

There are those in the MTB fraternity that would have your MTB confiscated and sold off to defray the cost of their embarrassment. The audacity that one of their own dared to be this disrespectful. You will get excommunicated if you carry on like this.smiley9.gif

I will never, ever do any of the above. I promise. I am not a tit.

I thought MTB'ers didn't care about "look" or anything ?

Thought one could ride a MTB wit bib and T-shirt and still look "MTBer" ?

Guess I was wrong - you guys are also a bunch of crossdresser pussies hiding behind leghair and mud. LOL

I love Cycling Hug

Hey, we care. We CARE!

It's very important to our look that we don't have a look.

Simple question; do you get more after-market bling for road or MTB......
