so what? the dude has a valid point. most cyclists are ****** on the road.

they skip traffic lights and act like the road belongs to them and they are invincible.

Indeed you are correct.

Oh boy, can't wait till I live in the 1st world where we don't have to put up with any of the small minded people in this country. They will only wake up when it is too late for them. I would kind of like it to see some bikers take out some of the idiots who make us ALL look bad. Pull them over and beat them with a few chains. I wonder if cyclesure will cover a fight???

I thought we were a brainless bunch on the hub...

After reading some of the comments on the site - and I am not referring to one?s were cyclists are targeted, the hub seems to be a few notches above.

So are most motorists, motorcyclists, pedestrians, runners etc... Seems to be a mentality problem overall.

How about this: "Here for your daily stress relieve of these to poor to afford a motorcycle people..."

Bet you a few bikes on this forum cost more than some on that one smiley36.gif

Well say what you will but the truth is that the original poster is right. I've been cycling on the road since the 80's almost never touching a car steering wheel except occasionally on weekends and I could NEVER understand the mentality of cyclists that refuse to give way to cars while riding 2+ wide. Why take the risk? I've got the scars of an accident where a taxi ran me over from behind in the yellow lane so from experience I can tell you, YOU WILL LOOSE THE FIGHT with the car and possibly for your life. Well then at least you can say I SHOWED THE f**kER! I used my part of the road. I've heard excused ranging from ' I will be cause I can' to ' It's safer'. Absolute BS. You would rather risk your life than to fix the odd puncture gotten from riding over crap on the side of the road? Grow up and understand the consequences of your actions. You get injured and my medical aid takes a knock, you die and  your family takes a knock. Either way somebody pays and usually it's not you. If there is anybody who wants to justify this type of riding then please justify it to your wife/girlfriend and children. I don't really care.

PS. All this refers to training rides not organized events

Why do you think this only happens in RS & A?

UK, US and OZ all have the same issues.

Europe seems to be a bit more cycling orientated/friendly
