Campagnola (cork) screw

Designed in 1966, this is more than just a standard corkscrew. It's become a design icon in the cycling world and more than that it actually works well using a patented body that ensures the tool is always central to cork. The long arms lever out even the tightest of corks and the body further acts as a cork grip to allow the cork to be removed from the tool very easily. These technical features and the use of the finest raw materials have made this corkscrew a must, a symbol of genius that is recognised throughout the world handmade by old omies with hacksaws and files high in the Italian Alps.

Would have been nice to have but they spoilt the whole thing by using kempekkernoglia chainring screws to hold it together. Now it is not only ugly but also not dependable!!!!!

It comes packed in a beautifull handmade oak box and packed in straw to protect it from being squashed in transit because it is made from the same pewter alloy they make the groupsets from.

Remember there is a difference between campagnolA and campagnolO !

CampagnolA is a French champagne producer and

CampagnolO is an Italian groupset manufacturer.

From HP's spelling it makes sense that it is the former.

Mmmm - wonder if they make a Fox Shock version of the toilet roll holder....

Now you got me thinking....

What about using an Easton EC70 fork with a Titanium and Carbon wheel skewer.

I also thought of using a STI or Ergo lever for the flush mechanism ...Big%20smile

Now imagine how quick you can unroll if you replace the bearing with ceramic ones.
