No need to break a crystal off your throne queenie....... Uhlrich waited for Armstrong when Armstong snagged a handbag and fell.

The man used an example oh queen of the one eyes..... must be difficult to spot an ostrich with only one eye.

oom! how dare you use the word "ostrich"!! you will incur the wrath of the those who lord it over others ;)

who are you to comment. you have never ridden the tdf. so stop commenting.

its the unwritten rule of the hub

Your statement, is that based on facts? Did I tell you that in person? Or are you just speculating this?

You should know I've done the tdf, true, they've actually tweeted about it once.

Dude, no one deserves to be boo'ed when receiving the yellow jersey at the TDF. That was just cruel...and wrong on so many levels. I take my hat off to him, that he actually stood there, taking everything from the crowd.

Queenie...... the man with no personality at all deserved to get boo'ed, he broke Lance's rulz..... open pour other eye please

I don't support boo-ing.

Like I wrote, I cringed when I saw the footage.

My point is that is does reflect what the live audience feel about 'Berto's decision.

When Lance and Ullrich 'waited' for each other in two different Tours, it set an expectation from those following sport. Rightly or wrongly, I dunno.

The pressure of the 'golden' jersey is now transferred onto 'Berto's shoulders.

The public pressure can now be added to the weight of the yellow jersey.

It's gonna be interesting to see how the 2 times champion hold up.

Queen of the one eyes, that is kinda hot.

I've got a mental picture of a bunch of hot guys wearing a patch over their other eye.

I just saw the chain incident....... could not see that Schleck was changing gears???????

Yummy .... I like what happened...... Contradrol boo-ed and disgraced..... he is most likely shyte scared as well. In the end it WILL cost him!!!!! He realised yesterday already that Schleck WILL beat him on the climbs........ Schleck knows that as well and he is hungry and hunting!!!!!!!!

As Phil just said..... Contadrol's move was a move of panic!!!!!!!!

I can't disagree more. People remember every bit of detail and this will taint his victory (if he wins). He is strong enough to win this without taking advantage of this. It also spoils the battle.

I agree Willehond. It comes down to honour and good sportmanship. As Paul Sherwan says, "Fair play goes out the window."

It is not just in cycling that you have those unwritten rules. There was a similar rule in soccer if you watched the world cup at all. They could've played on when a player was down but they played the ball out.

People remember Landis' doping for his Tour 'win". People remember Vino's doping after his spectacular stage "win". People don't remember the clean white sheets but the tainted stains on them.
