The site is up and running again.

I phoned them and it was down after a software upgrade had some complications and it took some time to rectify.

Was ook baie beindruk met Hennie se diens. Hy antwoord vinnig enige vonkpos navrae en het my mooi gehelp toe alles af was.

 

Aflewering is egter 4 dae eerder as twee. Kleur van Fox Flux helmet ook nie heeltemal soos op die webwerf nie, maar steeds 'n goeie kopie.

I have had nothing but great service from them. Ordered last week monday and changed my mind on the colour of the helmet just as I placed the order. Emailed them and within 30min the helmet was changed on the order. Recieved my goodies on the wed :-) Another friend went to order a heartrate monitor strap which was on the site before they closed it. When they opened the site again it was not there so she emailed them. Straight away the strap was loaded onto the site so she could place her order. excellent service.....

Also ordered the Fox Flux helmet. When I bought it the picture on the web was of the matt black. Got the charcoal delivered & now the picture on the website is the charcoal. Still some teething troubles, will give them another year or so before next purchase...

Ordered a helmet on the 3rd of September 09:00 , Got delivery today 13: September 13:00.

 

Will not say that is within 3-5 days. What bothered me more is that the helmet is not in the original packaging.

No extra padding that you normally receive with helmet, no manual etc. Just helmet in box the taped together.

At 10:24 this morning I emailed Hennie (at buycycle) to ask about a custom wheel build (as there were no rims on their site). At 10:31 I got a call (not an email) from him giving me my options, and what they can do for me.

I would'nt accept it.

 

No manufacturer distributes a helmet to the market like that. It will be in a propietary box and it will have instructions, hang tags, small pads etc. I expect my product to be sold to me in the condition it left the manufacturer (ie) in a box, instructions etc.

 

Maybe some folk dont mind, and if you accept it, thats fine, but I would return it (at their cost) and request my money back, or one in a sealed manufacturers box.
