Like the paint jobs on the cannondale' date=' and that twin down tube looks interesting, how does it ride?[/quote'] .....like any Kings horse manufacured by the fair hand of Ernesto should!! This legend started dabbling in carbon in the early 80's when other people were using it solely to reload their clutch pencils and through his association with Enzo Ferrari and AFR began composite production!! So how does it ride?? Simple!! Like a Colnago!! If anything with hindsight I'm sorry I ever sold (and crashed!!) my ones over the years and my association started with a Colnago Mexico in the mid to late 80's!!

Colonel' date='

I bought the Colnago CarbiTubo as a bike from the Junkmail about three years ago.

The frame was in very bad state of neglect.

Took the frame to Bill Irvine to have some Carbon repairs done.

Then took the repaired frame to CycleArt for Respray

The Campagnolo C-Record Crankset & Delta Brakes I purchased Brand new in 1989 (makes them 18 years old actually!!!!Big%20smile)

Moes jy hulle die 18 jaar in motgif bere sodat die motte hulle nie opvreet nie. Jy MOES hulle gebere het wat daar is geen kans dat kempekkernoglia wat gebruik word so lank kan hou nie!!!!!!!!!!

They go flexy very fast. Not suited for sprinting or heavy riders sadly.

Hey cruxpearl, beautiful bikes. did cycleart redo the decals for you or did you buy them. I would like to redo my tommasini super prestige (C record with delta brakes), but can't find decals.

JLDam, Cycleart builds the decals up with vinyl, or airbrushes them as in the case of the pictured Colnago & Cannondale.

The Colnago Logo on the front of the Steerer is built up with Vinyl

thanks cruxpearl. That's great. I also have an 85 CBT Italia frame, that I would like to redo. Have been seraching the net for photos and catalogues. but not much info.

Do you know, if there is someone that can restore the scratches on cycling parts? I'd like to have my C record cranks redone. I have read somewhere, that they were clearcoated.

Thanks again.
