I am glad that you are saved the court case and I do believe justice was served. I just hope that all SA road users, cyclists and motorists, take note of this. It is not a playpark out there. Our actions and attitude on the road affects other peoples lives. Taking someones life on the road in a car crash is no joke, wether it was an accident or as a result of your own stupidity. This latest development will surely leave you with unanswered questions, but take solace in knowing that your daughter's killer has been brought to justice (even if it was by his own hand) and that he will never hurt another cyclist. And then some people still try to defend him "imagine what he was going through". Shame. The only thing that was going through was a piece of lead, and that's the least he deserved. pastapouch Posted July 9, 2012 Share Sad and tragic. Two families have lost a loved one. I hope that this go around and show to irresponsible drivers that you don't get away with bad driving habits. I don't think that justice have anyway been served, whether he has gone to jail for live, 10,20,30 years, because of one person two families lives have been affected in the worst possible manner.
