Its been medically proven that sex before a big althletic event increases endurance and energy in women and has the opposite effect on men.

 

They did the experiments with some american olympic altheletes about 8 years ago if i remember correctly.

I find that doing it while on a spinning bike helps quite a bit the night before a race.

Not too mention the amazing sleep you get the night before the race.
