1) You have shown yourself to be biased

 

2) You have passed derogatory comments about some top ladies (deserving or otherwise) Anriette, and Engela come to mind making the biased comment more stronger

 

3) You cannot handle criticsm but skulk and throw tantrums, scary to think if you react as childishly as this on a discussion board what magnitude will you your reaction be if you get criticsm as someone with any power in CSA 

 

4) You have shown yourself to be not exactly above board (leaking certain confidential info on a hubber identity to one of your pals comes to mind)

 

5)Strong possibility that the database you are compiling of hubbers identities would be expanded to include all cyclist (what for only you know)

 

6)Your TCS hubbers have often posed questions here on issues such as lic which as Manager/Big Honcho you should have known, therefore making the assumtion that you know about current issues non valid.

But if

anyone were to take some time to think about your comments they would

have to agree with them. From what I have seen of him on this forum (I

have never met the man) I wouldn't say that he is capable of doing

anything differently to those currently in situ. It would just be a

case of shifting the balance in a direction that might suit him and his

followers.

 

The point here is that no-one is really completely

unbiased but a functional system should make the procedures (including

selection) completely transparent. I can imagine Crux sitting on a

panel fighting hard for his favourites (Engela & Anriette )

and the same all of the other representatives/selectors doing the same

thing. But at the end of the day they would be bound to use the

"system" to decide the selection and where there were exceptions they

would be obliged to make it very clear to the public at large what the

justifications for diverting from the procedures were.

Goofs and Windbreaker - I thought you guys had grown up a little and got past your TCS / Cruxpearl issues.

 

Perhaps you should reflect on the fact that Crux has organised a club where the members are happy and the cyclists within the team are successful.  The club has been such a success that they have had to close ranks to decide where they want to take the club.  There are not many clubs that are able to set up, deliver what their members want and get invitations to international pro events all within a year.  It took my club decades to establish the structure and this could only be fully utilised when a big listed, corporate sponsor came on board.

 

Perhaps if some of this energy and vigour was chanelled into the CSA there would be more successes there.
