That topeak mount broke on my second ride with it. I wouldn't trust it. :thumbdown:

Don't care how the bike looks. Mine could be related to a christmas tree anyway. I'd much rather have an ugly looking bike than an annoying backpack and not be comfortable on the bike.

I think these post mounted cages are the biggest injustice that one can do to a bike. They just make the bikes look sooo bad.

We are talking about MTB bikes if I look at the photo's ? So what's the big deal with a few scratches , looks , weight and who knows what else . The seat post holders works very nice but do not put it up there where it will get in the way when you wanna do a rear dismount .

I'll take it off afterwards I promise, But camelbacks make you tired, its loong days in the saddle, not 3-4 hours..

Which bottle holder clamp is that on your seat post.

 

And [hijack] see you are from CT, what tyres are those are they recommended for CT and Western Cape environs i.e. Epic.
