Hi, a lot of you guys know Chris Fotheringham, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is currently in ICU in Nelspruit after being hit by a car whilst riding near Hoedspruit.

 

I don't have all the details, but I understand he was avoiding a taxi that stopped in the road and got hit by another car.

Spoke to his wife, apparently the injury to his head is a bit worse than originally thought. Neuro surgeon says he will probably not be able to ride again. They are looking to move him out of ICU to a general ward somewhere in JHB today or tomorrow.

Ah, no, that's terrible news. And, I would imagine, quite hard to deal with at this time of year. Sorry to hear that.

Chris has been moved to a rehab center in Auckland Park. Struggles to recognise people and follow a conversation. Physically doing good,broken ribs causing some pain, but the head, she is not right.
