The motto is our company is: "A bad result, with a good excuse, is still a bad result" Leaving inexeperienced people organising the SA's is obviously a No-No. If the organisers planned properly. local traffic dept instructions would have been indentified in the planning stages as an issue that needed to be mitigated.

Back to my company: With a bad result, the sh!t flows uphill, and senior people takes the fall. I hope CSA is run along sound business principles, and that a good Performance Appraisal system is in place. What are the odds???

Hello Frans

Most of what you say is true, but on occasion situations do occur which no amount of planning can prevent.

Bearing in mind we dont know yet what the "excuses" are, I'm just playing the CSA advocate here.

Lets just hope that nothing tragic happens as a result of the problems.

10% off the pace and you are pulled off the route

Finish line is awash with riders who should be racing but are now spectators...

Howzit!! How's the training going?

I know you are just playing CSA's side. I'm oversensitive to excuses, excuses, hear that every day!!! Agree that sh!t sometimes happen despite the best plans.

Miskien moet CSA volgende keer net hulle eie dokumente lees en toepas

Die "CSA Road - Event Oganizers Requirements 2011" kan hulle dalk handig te pas kom

I am really not suprised, CSA is useless... maybe PPA should organize the SA's

Not a bad idea, thank goodness for a friend of mine that told me her times had changed.

Otherwise my dad would of missed the start of his race.

He has been in the cycling industry for over 40 years and he is super bef..k at the organising of this event.

Well to those that make it on time to there atart good luck
