Since the Agent now rides a dual, one of his buddies rode it last night, now he also wants one.

My question to all you clever hubbers out there is: what is the acceptable weight for a stock standard mid price range dual suspension mtb. No pimping to save weight, straight off the shop floor.

Ja, I think 12kg is more that realistic. His decision will be based on various factors, because he only knows hard tails be doesnt want to be bullsh!tted by a bike shop.

12kg? but would you find that acceptable?

Isn't 12kg reasonably light for a dual.?

And what's the likelihood of getting that in a mid range/price bike.?

My brother in laws shova (L) came in at just under 13kg and had reasonable build kit.

Isn't 12 a bit on the heavy side.

I have a 5inch trail bike that weights in at 12Kg.

Recon 11Kg is more acceptable.

11kg might be pushing it a bit?

My Blur(L)is coming in at just under 11kg and parts list is pretty light.
