Most agents order a supply they can sell within the year. Then there's a lead time for new stock. Omnico certainly aren't incompetent from what I know and have heard of them.

The brand manager is, well, less then perfectly efficient. Its the reason I bought a Trek TT bike when I really wanted a Slice.

I would understand it if demand was underestimated and stock runs out in October or so, but 2 months into the year? From a business perspective, this means that 10 months worth of sales will go to the opposition, unless they can quickly order some more. That said, 29ers are a fairly new thing on the market, perhaps not that easy to predict numbers. I wonder how supply is on the Super 6, 26 Flash and Scalpels, etc.

Weight Weenie Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 I"m having issues regarding getting a warranty frame from Omnico so I'm not so sure if they plan well with regards to stock holding, just in time or something maybe ? Another thing, if you buy the 929 comlete, just make sure about those wheels, as the 26" version has a 77kg weight limit
