I run WTB tyres on my gravel bike..........never had a puncture or problem !
I've had my Garmin 510 for over 10 years and its still going strong.................I bought a 530 from a friend as I need the Navigation recently, lets see what happens.......
Very nice and fast, well done GW and all involved....................
Number collection ?
I hate freeloaders..............scum of the earth !
Buy a good quality 3 or 4 bike rack carrier ( here in ZA you can buy a Thule through Volvo at a discounted price )
I have 2 riding buddies who live close to me, and we venture out into the countryside on Saturday mornings in search of gravel roads for gravel grinding .We all have the same setup and we all take turns to fetch and carry everybody else. This way there is never arguments about costs etc. and no one is a sponger..............even the coffee and beers are sorted in this manner !
On a Friday ?
It is generally a flat route so you are constantly pedaling, no break on downhills !
Do the Wildevy ride this weekend if you can...................
Who on here is also doing this event ?
Groups generally meet at van Gaalens on Saturday and Sunday mornings early, why not pop in there and ask around. Can join in on the trails or gravel to Breedts nek ................
What about the new Scicon Aerowing Lamon ?
I find fasting the best and easiest option.........8 hours on, 16 hours off. No counting calories, weighing food and complicated science behind it. I have lost 8 Kg and maintained it for 2 years now
I have been riding gravel and road on my Momsen R355 for a few years now, for me the best tyres are WTB...........many kilometres with zero punctures !

The plan was to start at 4 again but seems they are still at WP4
Is your wife's tracker still working? Has not moved all day, I hope all is ok......................
I had it in January, hit me hard and was almost hospitalised..............simple tasks took effort and was out of breath quickly ! Waited about 2 weeks after I was all clear before I started very slowly, initially just a cruise around my hood and then slowly built up within a few months. Listen to your body and don't rush it.............

Piet Laubscher was 1St and he managed 27.25km/h ( I doubt he stopped much )..........he is a machine and came in 8th overall at the Munga in December 2020 !
Very enjoyable ride, we ( a group of 7 ) did it earlier in the year and I prefer the reverse route since you get the 15 km sandy / corrugated section over with after the first waterpoint instead of at the end when you hot and tired. No issues whatsoever, this route is also longer at 143 km and even though its flat you work hard

I think they mentioned that the Giro will finish in Rome for the next few years to come, maybe even become a tradition like Paris at the TDF.
Was very special and a great spectacle for the whole world, great for cycling too !
