  1. After looking for two months !! They must really be exhausted .
  2. Ok might as well admit it , I am a Rambo without any official training and also if situation allows will not let the nice people take my stuff . In December a nice man tried to relieve me of my car by waving a knife at me , demanding we all get out so he can claim what was given to him by his govermunt . I did manage to take his knife and plant it into his arm pit . He ran of screaming like a pig (which he sure was not) hopefully to go and die slowly somewhere on a dump . So I suppose we don't all act the same .
  3. And if I watched all the movies ?
  4. Pity they haven't got the 20"bikes yet .
  5. Hu ? Why are we not allowed to mention Monkeys on here ?>?
  6. Then why would SAA then accept liability ??
  7. This is about as useful as the discussion about "proper flat pedal shoes " . waste of time and money .
  8. You most probably find it's the same suckers who fell for the 29ers !!

  12. So you won't be able to get a brand new one but these bikes will be around for many years to come .
  13. on farm road
  14. Actnet ?? You riding with the midget Scotsman ?
  15. Don't use old tyres . Don't worry about getting tubeless tires to much , but tubeless tires are a lot easier to work with . Insulation tape , been working for many years on my setups If you gonna use the Tube method you only need a thin strip of tube to cover the spokes , does not have to go all the way up to the rim of the wheel .
  16. Get well soon .
  17. And not to mention the CSA fee that gets added onto races . I am still waiting for CSA to explain to me what I get for all this money I am paying .
  18. Thug always ask me if I plan to return when he sees me with my big Camelpack . But at the Monster I first helped a dude to replace a tube (one tube gone) , then I found a gentleman lying under a tree as sick as a dog . Out come the ouch-pouch and I give him a few pills . After the farmhouse another breakdown , rear caliper lost a bolt , cable tie , then at the Tower Climb , lady with chain problems . Luckily she had her own spares but it was all in the back pack . Funny thing is I have never put a bladder for water or brandy into my back pack . That how we roll .
  19. Last year one of the locals (biekie onder die prop na al die brandewyn) told us that they saw a leopard earlier that day on their way to their water point ! No too sure but I think they more active than bison's at night ?
  20. That mowed grass did hurt , but sand ? Very little sand compared to a few years ago , or did I take the wrong route ?
  21. Don't pull them out .
  22. You must have cycled with me !!! I stopped at the Tower climb to help the nice ladies who lost the chain .
  23. Who will be taking their "Non-cycling" handbrake and snotnoses with ? If I cannot find somebody to entertain my 6 year old that day I cannot go . Wife will be doing a cycle tour in Europe during that period .
  24. IF !! 90% of the the time it's easy but every so often you get one that takes you more than 6 beers to seat properly .
  25. Yipo always two sides to the story , the incorrect/wrong side and then the Hub side . And don't you forget that !!!
