sorry to hear about the diagnosis Cois! My dad was diagnosed the end of last year (different cancer) In my experience with my dads diagnosis get some opinions, his first doc told him the readings were too low to worry about it... Second doc (a very well respected doc) started treatment that same week and now he's got the all clear!

I still have my Grimac Mia for sale if anyone is keen, I am open to negotiations..

There is a trend towards misting the beans in the hopper before grinding... like with a spray bottle... never tried it..

Bought my MIL one about 2 years ago now, been working perfectly. Like you say they static is there but not bad...

Thanks guys, this was quite a surprise when I got it.. The pictures I received from the guy looked terrible, must have used Potato4 to take the photos.. Its actually in really good condition, small chip on the crystal but barely noticeable, movement is in great working order and has been serviced in its life which is nice to see, more often than not the vintage watches I find have never been serviced which is shame.

This is a big problem in the industry.. the bigger roasters are going for Best Before dates now to cater for the supermarkets... I wont sell beans older than 3 weeks.

This should be a standard across the board, really cant understand how coffee shop owners sleep at night charging for single shots... ridiculous. I mean +- 8 grams of coffee... how.

I really do think about this little girl and her family every day!
