  1. Never understood the vipa... Cost was high, geo was "weird", and looked meh... Maybe I'm fussy...
  2. IMHO 2.8 isn't plus.... 3.0" or GFTO
  3. We did impala etc today. I love those sections but its a beating!
  4. If you do loop b and go green left its pretty pleasant. Some descents and tricky sharp climbs but I think some of the milder blue for sure. Now if you go right blue that's another story.
  5. I would take blue B and add it into your ride. Its a great little detour and brings you right back onto the green. In blue B there is a choice to go right and do more blue but that takes you to impala and heartbreak hill etc, but if you go left it brings you back to the green "zig zags" towards yafta.. Lekker little detour
  6. You didnt use the table to cook food on a fire with so I'm assuming thats why you still here :-)
  7. Funny this chick uses it to serve koek as well...
  8. Tambotie is poisonous when you inhale the fumes or eat food cooked over it. Doubt you'd get sick from cutting or sanding it... Would take some precautions though.
  9. Its soooo good... I am waiting a week to re-watch it hahaha
  10. At that price its totally worth it just for trying! I'll order one next week
  11. I use my v60 when not using an espresso machine over my aeropress.
  12. Yeah, look I wouldnt take his advice on many things... He can make a cup of coffee but man I dunno he has some strange ideas.. EG: Go into his shop, you won't find a portafilter warm in a machine, he "believes" it damages the seals in the group... he also roasts using an application that is configured to IMHO "roast to within an inch of the beans life, or, nearly not at all"... maybe he has got it worked out now, but for roasting advice or just advice i'd steer clear...
  13. Yeah with Grant being at Iron Bike its been a bit slow... I'll see if I can chase him :-)
  14. Wayne is a strange chap... he has a different "style" if you want to call it that.. but the others are good...
  15. Grant or Sean at Sprocket and Jack have Surly Steel Forks... give them a buzz
  16. Pretty good really haha, its difficult to get consistency with it but it roasts... very little at a time
  17. I think part of the joy of something like roasting comes from the involvement and the process involved... if that makes sense, I know when my mate roasts which is almost daily now he says its like a break for him, just roasting, nothing else! *he has a giant Giesen roaster but still :-)
  18. I have always been super interested in the home roasting side of things, bought a popcorn maker and have done some... I prefer the idea of manual control over the preset stuff... my mate roasts manually for his shop and swears by it.
