your iphone can be plugged into any usb port, I'm guessing Di2 cant. If you want a charging cable and even a charger for your iphone you can get it at just about any store these days, and it costs virtually nothing for a basic one.

my first thought would be that its a stolen bike, so she does not have the charger.

on a cold winters morning, my Lezyne will do 1 hour at @ 1000lm and then its flat. Have to charge it daily. One needs to factor in the ambient temps into the run times of battery operated devices.

having done many many rides equating to many hours of night riding, but on the road, I can see where you're coming from. I'd hate to be trying to navigate a technical offroad course in the dark, at speed. I have 1000lm Lezyne light, its sometimes not enough on the road. Although I do find when there is less ambient light around the 1000lm seems a bit more adequate. Having said that, there is something magical about riding at night.

I run 28mm and I struggled to find them, and then at the right price. Eventually bought online from EastCityCycles in cape town and had them couriered up.

I have indeed. Much better grip than gatorskins. I used to only run gatorskins, for many many years, but never felt confident in their grip dry or wet.

Pirelli Cinturato Velo The most bullet proof tyre I've ever used, even more so than Gatorskins. Currently on my 3rd set, got 10 000km off the last set. I run them tubeless, but they can be run with tubes too.

I went out this morning to do my usual loop, was going to take it easy but landed up giving it some good effort, about halfway through I remembered I wanted to grab that KOM at the end of my ride. Does anyone know why this is happening ?

I'm disappointed I did not even get into the top 10 on a climb I do very often, but this time I was motor pacing behind a truck. Its my fastest up there by a long shot but nowhere even close to being in the top 10.

its a free access gated community. i.e. booms, but no security guard, so anyone can enter. 1.7km segment, 11m of elevation gain. ok you guys have pulled my lycra, I'm a minute and a bit off the top spot. wow, some impressive lists going. Of my 2 top 10s, the one is easily taken, but its a stupid little segment around my 'hood that not many people ride, seems a bit like cheating to go out and get the KOM on it. The second is a fairly long segment on my usual route. This one I'll attempt one day, with the right conditions I think I can take it. Other than those 2 I'm to slow to challenge any other KOMs

From the Where has your bike taken you today thread I thought it may be interesting to start a local legends / kom thread, Just something fun, since my Strava membership will end mid October I wont be able to contribute much. I'm very much a creature of habit and ride the same routes over and over again, so whilst I have no KOMs (have 2 top 10s though), I do have a long list of "local legends"

I didnt check the weather yesterday, headed out in the wrong direction. Tail wind out, pumping head wind back. Made it very difficult to keep to my Zone 2 planned training ride.

anyone got some mojo lying around ? Between not having power for 8 days and work stress I've lost mine somewhere. Will see if I can find it tomorrow morning though.
