Especially on that piece of road you mentioned, that someone hasn't died is an absolute miracle. Then there is the group with the infamous rider without helmet, their just as bad!!! (Please dont tell him, he has been known to eat babies for performance enhancement) Believe me I have seen them for many years. Glad Im not on the road anymore!!!

Think a lot of people miss the fact that you ride a hardtail differently to a full suspension bike, I have switched over to a hardtail 29er Scott Pro and I must say I prefer it over my full suspension Merida 96 I had. But I had to just my riding style full suspension tends to make you abit lazy in the saddle, not that there is anything wrong with it, but I prefer the simplicity of the hardtail.

All new technology is 29er based I was also of the opinion that 29 er was not necesarrily the way to go but boy go ride one, there are two kinds of people those that have a 29 er and are smiling and then the ones that want one! Lol! By the way I have ridden and owned hardtail 26, full suspension 26 so I have ridden them all! Go ride a few bikes most shops have loan bikes and for that price range there is a lot out there! Enjoy you will never look back!

I actually was thinking of trying that, was just wondering why the manufacturers setting are so high psi wise, its like riding on concrete pillars.

Ok I have been trying to set up my Sid 29er shock and just cant get it right, I prefer riding a fairly plush shock. My last setting was 90 positive and 80 negative and I took it for a ride at Groenkloof as I rode I am sure it got harder and harder to the effect that my wrists almost bombed out at the end. Now these setting are even lower than the setting for my weight which is 76kg. How do I set up the fork to be softer especially over the smaller bumpy stuff, it doesnt seem to move much over the smaller stuff? OR maybe a fault on the shock never heard of a shock getting harder as you ride!

I rode on my 29er pulling a Icecream bike and NOBODY looked for ****. See 29ers solve all problems he he!!!

Ok so can anyone give me tips on seting up the SID RL, if I use the manufacturers recommendations it feels like my wrists have been hammered. This negative and positive air setting are just making me negative lol!!! I prefer a fork that set up a bit soft, for the smaller bumps, rutted type of stuff. Please advice would be much appreciated!! I weigh 78kg and are riding a Scott Pro 29er!!
