  1. I know what you mean.....last year at Kremetart after getting dropped by the ladies' date=' I worked my @ss off....then 5km from the end some little bunch caught us, full of old f@rts and then they had the nerve to sprint me in the last 100m after another guy and I had pulled them to the end....pathetic....[/quote'] ? in the sprint for 222nd place? I don't care for what place. The people at the back usually ride/race for time and not positions. I am no body's team mate and especially no one's work horse. You want to get to the line faster, you come and sweat on the front! This thread was all about the ladies and how they sit and do no work. But apparently if you're a guy that's ok??? Every second day there's some guy on the hub asking for a cycling girlfriend. Now if a girl reads the threads and is a bit more sensitive she won't come near you, the way you trash the ladies here. I have plenty of male cycling friends and I am definitely not sensitive but reading this thread.....well...I think I've expressed my views already.
  2. And who is she on the hub?

  4. This is starting to bug me now......major....and let it be noted that I DO NOT ride elite ladies categories! What do they want to achieve??? I wonder....maybe it's the ultimate thing that athletes want - Olympics, Worlds or at least some overseas races. Maybe not. Maybe it's to see you all big men that race licenced categories moan about them! So how do you become good enough for those? How do you qualify for those? Do they say "stuff you!" to their sponsor and go ride a race on their own just to proove to all of you that they are good enough? How do they earn their money? By racing and winning races. I cannot get the logic behind all this moaning. Maybe you should all club in and organise a ladies only race! How did Kevin Evans achieve the amazing results he did overseas last year? Besides the training of numerous hours a day he was given the opportunity to RACE the distances they do overseas and improve. So organisers must provide the girls with their own bunch and you must stop moaning how you catch them and how your races are interfered with because of them and bla bla bla. It's bordering on pathetic now... bored girl2010-02-16 09:34:17
  5. So who says they volunteered to race with the men? Everyone is busy blaming the ladies here for "wanting" to suck wheels almost....I am pretty sure they are told this is your start time, starting with the vets..... Very little exceptions were for the cyclelab chicks that did a few races with the men by choice while preparing for overseas races. But then again they didn't fight over prize money with the winners of the elite ladies bunch.... So can we redirect the blame now cos it's getting a bit boring...
  6. Santa has good taste.....
  7. I know....amazing right Specialized just knew what it would mean to me Funny enough abbreviation for Bulgaria, like on those car stickers you get, is also BG. maybe there was more to me being bored that one day in December 2006....
  8. Still waiting. Ok here's some pics....not of the final product though but just a taste..... And then this still needs to go on.... and to top it off....
  9. I agree completely....2008 Bela Bela I had to start with the ladies as I left my entry too late and got dropped at 15km, had to ride on my own the rest of the way. The year after I raced open and managed to hang on the whole way beating my time from previous year by quite a bit. Also Kremetart is usually a nightmare....
  10. I eat until I'm full....sometimes beyond the point. Have never made an effort to calculate...
  11. I reckon it's happier with you cos it doesn't have to work as much.....Mark used to ride it....you seem to fall off bikes more than you ride them
  12. You look like a giant with that girl in the background....
  13. I got a new one....but I don't have a pic with my awesomely hot new saddle yet. So will have to wait....
  14. Can`t say anything about the way they taste but they were pretty . Apologies for the scenery mixup. Well at work the other day we got a sample of Lolly's 2010/2011 calendar...and I don't know if he pics them and how he pics them but both my boss and me agreed that they were not very easy on the eye...
  15. I am sorry to say but the little of Bulgaria that is at Teazers is of very poor taste...simple girls cannot compare to majestic scenary. And btw the pics that you responded to weren't the ones I posted of Bulgaria....
  16. What can I say.....At this particular moment there is only one reason I might want to go back for a visit to the home country and the pics bellow will show why. In the mean time....let me introduce you to Bulgaria guys....
  17. Well I am planning to do the Ride for Sight since it's more reasonable. I'd splash out for Bela Bela if I am around at the time and then.....maybe the occasional Babbas (which has gone up by R10 this year). Will have to skip Knysna this year due to leave issues It's expensive and I'll try and do longer rides on weekends instead of racing. Just one of those things.... As to the no WC MTB races, don't think there are any on Supercycling where Thug got the info from....
  18. I have a real problem with shops that don't have prices on their shelves. Last week I wanted to buy something for breakfast from the woolies section at the garage. More than half the products had no prices, the rest had the labels shuffled so I had to sit and search for the corresponding price. When I noticed the manager I asked him why his stock doesn't have price labels. Oh....he says....which item? So I pointed to the shelf and he gave me some excuse that that particular shelf was supposed to have prices marked on the product. Needless to say there was no price label on the pancakes that I bought.....neither did the yoghurt. Is it that difficult to get it right? Especially in a shop that's 15 square metres?
  19. There was some ad with Yolande Speedy saying how this product (whatever it was.....some trainer thing I think) and her SPD pedals are 2 things that have helped her improve her riding the most. It could also be all rubbish just to sell stuff....
