  1. Who won then... did they sprint or was it prearranged/agreed?!
  2. This makes me sad, that someone so young should pass before their rightful time. Great collage to a great person and rider.

My deepest condolences, to one of the nicest people ever to call himself a cyclist and grace us all with your memory. RIP

All the best Ryan, wish you a speedy recovery
  5. Cycling needs people willing to stand up and take a stand, regardless of past failings. I admire Millar now (post conviction) for his stance and effort he personally is placing on the whole issue. http://www.cyclingnews.com/road/2007/tour07/?id=/features/2007/tour_millar_vino_reaction07
  6. or turn the sucker around and take a convenient leak
  7. Wicked, http://www.robbiehunter.net/ here I come
  8. Saw some of these babies on the TBW bikes over the Grand Depart in London and they are sweet. Last line of the preview http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/mavic-launch-new-top-line-wheelset-11048
  9. these look like the business http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=18282
  10. Must be Ram 2's then, nice
  11. The use of Obermeyers loops has been reduced but not eliminated by Mavics Cosmic Ultimates. I also notices a few other little component diversions like ceramic bearing jockey wheels. Anyone have an idea what bars the chicken uses? they look a bit like Cinellis
  12. oops, copied that pic and there seems to be some imbedded Java script. Can a mod remove the script or delete the pic? sorry
  13. Do what spidy said, only bling your bike out after you get the 10sp with KMC Gold, sweet http://www.parker-international.co.uk/productimages/fullsize/KMC%20X10SLgold.JPG
  14. Degano has just pulled out after a fall and with his efforts being more than a little inconspicuous this week I'm sure Corti must be kicking himself for denying the young speedster. Discuss
  15. You guys can be thankful you don't have to endure David Duffield from Eurosport . Have a quick look here at some of his Duffieldisms and be truly amazed
  16. Most of the top racers here in the UK use Ralphs on the rear and then alternate with Nic's and Ralphs on the front depending on the course/weather.
  17. The Shimano vs Scampy subject makes me laugh Kinda like religion, some followers always trying to make/force beliefs onto the other side as apposed to just frigging accepting them. I'll agree (or not) to disagree but one thing's for certain, you guys are full of k_k If any of you care, I'll meet you at the prologue on Saturday and we can argue as it was intended...... over BEER ShortLegs2007-07-02 10:09:14
  18. Looks like I'm getting team-Campied here, thanks for OT replies guys. No twist here Spidey, but if you feel the need to help them out, that's your prerogative. It's not the size of the dog in the fight.....
  19. Don't be thick, pricing a product to match competition is the exact reason why Shimano will always have the market share majority.
  20. Sigma cycles here in the UK has an oven in their shop. No Shimano agent required. Pretty expensive at ?180 squids a pop, eina!!!
  21. The carbon sole forms to your foot. You can do it a couple of times according to Shimano. They look awesome, but no feedback yet in any of my cycling circles
  22. Dunno how easily you can source Pearl Izumi clothing, but if you can I can recommend the Am-Fib winter gloves. Used them for 3 UK winters and my digits have remained toasty in sub-zero temps. They're not bad in the rain/snow either
  23. My prediction for the new DA groupset is: Crankset - full carbon based on this prototype but I think the production version will have a smother profile and more stylish (I hope). Rear derailleur - XTR type full carbon cage with stiffer spring and more direct cable routing (SRAMish) Calipers - I recon more cut away than present (Campyish) or more along the lines of the Zero Gravity ones Levers - always more room for improvement Front Derailleur - some refinements but no useless cosmetic carbon bits please! Chain - hollow pin with a tool-less master link (SRAMish)ShortLegs2007-06-26 04:14:09
  24. Christie, I think 95% of people didn't like the current crankset when it initially came out. I kinda grew on most people with the exception of that dodgy scampy lot
