  1. Think if u get it all from Kiwi he'll build it as well Alas, the lad had 0 small frames when i was looking in Jan Mampara - WE NOT SUPPOSE TO PROMOTE KIWI's GOOD PRICING Nice guy, need to go past to show him how the Int Bars setup
  2. Hi All So i'm looking for a set of LIGHT alu race wheels. Anybody have pro's and con's or other suggestions opposed to what i've listed above? Looks like they all in the region of R7000-9000 and either Sub 1400 or there abouts. I know a few riding the SLX's so really looking for guys that have ridden the 7850 C24 CL's or Ardennes. If you know of a custom set that's awesomely stiff and light, let me know, gonna msg Johann as well and see what he can come up with Thanks Clinton
  3. I'm the same height but it'll also depend on your inseam? I ride a 50-52cm frame but prefer the smaller if i can get it, just handles better. R500 i think is reasonable for a full bike build, considering it takes about 3-4 hrs to build and setup? Bike stores need to become service orientated and take the money they can get without ripping you a new 1? Indigo, u scored there @ R200 FYI - you can spec a really good bike if you can find the frame you like. Integrated Bar/Stem, from Kiwi R1750 (New) Groupset SRAM Froce from Kiwi R6500 (New) Wheels Round R5000 would give you decent (else R2500) Pedals R1000 (Seen Keo Carbon's for R1000) Saddle R1000 That's R15250 so far (frames, i've seen new Raleigh RC7000C's for R4500 NEW! Else even a used Madone frame for Sub R10k?) I'd say that's a NEW bike spec, sub 9kg's for R20k? Or higher spec frame for Sub R30k, sorry, not sure what you're looking at doing or what you're willing to spend Just know it can be done, how i built my bike and theHub is a great source of info and where to buy what Good luck, welcome to the light :D
  4. Hi All Anybody know what time SBR opens currently? I'm on leave for the week so planning to go there hopefully twice during the week mentioned above to do some small climbs to improve strength for 94.7. Interested, let me know day & time cos i'm pretty flexible It's for training & NOT a race!
  5. Thanks to everybody that supported! :D
  6. & what might be wrong with owning Midgets? They work very well i might have you know! Right height to help massage that HOT Leg?
  7. I've been pricing Tubeless kits FYI Stan's Kit CWC & Buycycle have them round R450 Was looking at the Ghetto option but can't find the 20" BMX tubes with removable presta valves I've only been MTBing couple times, i think i've been running way too hard now at 4 bar, i'm a roadie, 10 bar is normal!
  8. The battery isn't std on all the models, i had to hunt for the right battery for the 720i to do it myself. So no 2032, as it is lipped etc, but i don't swim with mine, i also know it's got a slight crack in the casing, it's been fine riding in the rain, but i if i'm running and get rained on (hockey) then the thing mists up, go figure! Polar will change the seals tho and if there's a leak post service, i'm sure they fulfill any damages etc, something to consider? Sportsmans Warehouse is an agent so if you don't wanna use your LBS, Sportsmans are generally everywhere, can't comment on whether they'll loose your watch tho & how efficient they are?
