  1. I'll have it loaded by tomorrow morning!
  2. It's done, but I just need to upload it, and there's this thing called work that's been getting in the way!
  3. Thanks! EDIT: I just realized I had a total blonde moment and that it was in one of the first posts! I'll blame it on being red in color!
  4. I have a question, and this is because I haven't read the whole fred... But if I'm only picking 9 riders, how are you going to know who my subsitute is? And how many subs are we allowed?
  5. Hey G, Don't buy it! It's way too small for you! Listen to what everyone else said above. Anywho, say hi to the cuz!
  6. A valid comment, I was actually having this discussion with another hubber yesterday morning! But as Gummibear pointed out - some people only have mtb's and to them, whether it's on gravel/dirt/tar it's mountain biking because they have knobblies on. And then like Mads stated, for those that have both road and mtb's, it's personal preference on whether they log the mileage as mtb or road. At the end of the day you're still riding your bicycle and that's all that counts. But if you're willing to volunteer yourself to go through 131 people's workouts and approximately 23000 km's per month of terrain to determine what's really a mountain biking working and what's a dirt-roadie workout, then feel free to do so!
  7. Tankman may be able to help as well
  8. Virgin Active is "highlighting" swimming this month, and they have a program that they put together with different levels of fitness/experience: 1234VA swim digital programme.pdf The also have some videos (I haven't checked them out yet though) http://www.virginactive.co.za/fitness/view/program/162#swim_programme
  9. Just some notes: A lot of people didn't update their workouts, so if you let me know who you are, I can be nice just this one time and update it. And then I had a couple of requests from people that use Strava to use their data. If you would like me to add you, then PM me your details. And apparently only a couple of people are swimming at the moment!

  11. I did the numbers last night already, but after a few glasses of wine and numbers blending together I'm double checking everything at the moment!
  12. I think we were originally going to deal out monthly prizes, and the challenges only do totals, not per month. It doesn't take too long though, and I'm a huge nerd and actually like plugging and chugging numbers... Still just need to find the time to look for sponsors for prizes, so if anyone wants to volunteer, please let me know!
  13. It may be a typo on my part, I'll go through and ammend it when I do the totals for May.
  14. It takes it from Jan 1st. So you can upload all old workouts between now and when you join and it will register them.
  15. Just a reminder to load all your workouts! It's almost the end of the month!
  16. Did you get sorted? If not, just go to the workouts tab and upload or enter them in manually.
  17. What's the website, etc? I'll take a look at it and see if we can include it.
  18. If he was on a plane, that would've been the fastest trip to the northern hemisphere ever! (Unless of course you're Superman or Ironman ) Glad you're getting better!
  19. I think it may have been a garmin error, like the time one of the Hubbers went to Iceland. It looks like it's been fixed again though.
  20. Oh, go to www.performancebike.com they have good descriptions of the different types of jackets.
  21. It's a shell, and you can remove the arms. If it's really cold I wear a long sleeve cycling shirt under it. And if you start getting too toasty then you just remove the sleeves.
  22. I have a couple Pearl Izumi Elite Barrier Convertible jackets and a Louis Garneau one similair to the PI, and so far it's been sufficiently warm. And I get cold very easily.
  23. 1 millicandella = 0.001 Lumens
  24. Yup, more details would be great! I.e. distance, pace, route.
